THE SNIVELLING SHITS "Terminal Stupid" and "I Can't Come." record that was shipped to the music papers and various promotional people is now available in shops around London. It's on import though, being pressed up in France. The original copies were for promo use only and left people to speculate about who was in the band. Now the French imports of the 45 are in the UK with listings of the culprits in the band. It's enough to make the writers at the NME who gave it "Single Of The Week" status blush. At the time they wrote that the 45 was, "... another kick up the arse for Rock & Roll from a bunch of geezers as yet relatively unknown, but once Stiff Records gets their hands on them, The Snivelling Shits will change the face of blather, blather, etc." Now the secret is out The Snivelling Shits are actually a secret band put together by rival music mag staffers Giovanni Dadomo, Pete Makowski, Dave Fudger and Steve Nicol from Sounds. Wonder what rating the NME will give it now? Sparks like it though!!!

The aborted Sex Pistols' movie Who Killed Bambi? has been given a new life as another backer for the venture has been found. The script for the film has been drastically re-written by Michael Armstrong as some sort of French Revolution romp in which the band would play against stiff upper lip British actors actors. Russ Meyer has not been retained to direct the picture. Shooting is slated to start at the beginning of next month. However this was also destined to be binned as the band would have to sit down and learn a mountain of script, which at this moment in time just  wasnt gonna happen.
