 While The Screamers, the Germs and The Weirdos are all starting to make a big noise across the City of Angels, there were other mispent youths spilling out from the shadows making their presence felt too. In fact by now the Hollywood punk scene had an indigenous supply of punk bands on it's streets, and some wild ones at that. There was a slew of terrific and not so good punk bands in existence by now. Most notable of many were combos  such as The Skulls, The Controllers, Arthur J and The Gold Cups, The Eyes, The Alleycats, The Deadbeats, Black Randy and The Metro Squad, The Zeros, The Dickies, the Go-Gos, and X. They would all be out there doing there thing in the coming months. And out out of these bands only the last 3 outfits would go onto bigger fame outside their own locale. However it will be the newest and latest bunch of wackos - the Dickies barely a week old who would be first to crack the big market .  Grey Topper, Nottingham
