are giving away a free flexi-disc of "Love Lies Limp" in this week's issue of Sntffln' Glue #12. The fanzine is Mark Perry of Alernative TV's brainchild. They'll be available until the 10,000 copies printed run out. The song was originally recorded for EMI, but were rejected for being too political. The band on this recording is made up of writer Mark Perry on vocals, Alex Fergusson on guitar, Tyrone Thomas on bass and John Towe on drums. Since the recording was made, drummer John Towe (former Chelsea & Generation X) left and was replaced by Dennis Bennet, ATV's third drummer. This issue of Sniffin Glue #12 will be it's final issue due to the band, the record label, and basically coz it's run it's course.Sham 69 also on Mak P. Step Forward Records are featured.

THE SLITS are one of the most talked about new groups around London. They're seen as the female version of the Sex Pistols that more people that have heard of, than have actually heard. That's about to change for today The Slits are in the BBC's Maida Vale studios recording four songs for the John Peel program that'sdue to be broadcast on the 27th of this month. Songs recorded are "Love And Romance," "Vindictive," "New Town" and "Shoplifting."
